Why Are Shot Blocks Downgraded in NBA 2K?
Easiest answer: balance! If shot blocking was too easy, scores would be unrealistically low and everyone would rage quit.

Honestly, they needed to nerf blocks. Without it, every player would turn into the next Dikembe Mutombo, and that's just not fun.
Developers tweaked shot blocking so games aren't just block-fests. Gotta keep that gameplay smooth and fair!
