Because the game developers decided that swatting shots like a boss isn't enough if you can't get back and play solid D after!

Shot blocks can downgrade team grade if they don't lead to a possession change. It鈥檚 all about maintaining overall team efficiency.

In NBA 2K, blocks can mess with team grade since they can leave open chances for the offense if you don't recover quickly. Happened to me plenty of times!

Blocking shots is awesome for highlight reels, but in NBA 2K, it can sometimes be seen as risky play if it leaves you out of position. This is why it can hurt your team grade.

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
