Oh, those giant pumpkins are part of the Halloween update! The devs threw them in as a cool, seasonal easter egg. Adds a spooky vibe to match the survival horror theme. Plus, scavenging around them can sometimes net you extra resources or items. Just adds to the whole 'survive if you dare' atmosphere, if you ask me.

Haha, why not? Big pumpkins = big fun. Especially when you're trying to survive and these massive gourds are just sitting there, practically taunting you. It's just a game being playful with its horror elements. And who doesn't love a good pumpkin around Halloween time?

Actually, I think the big pumpkins take away from the game's realism. Like, why would there be perfectly good, giant pumpkins lying around in a post-apocalyptic, industrial moon setting? Seems a bit out of place to me.
