Why Are There No Centaurs in Fallout 4?
RollingHank路7 months agoCentaurs were a staple in previous Fallout games, but they didn't make the final cut in Fallout 4. The developers, Bethesda Game Studios, decided instead to introduce new creatures and enemies that fit the game's Boston setting better. It's all about keeping the game fresh and ensuring that the horrors of the wasteland are a good match for the new location and story.

Honestly, centaurs just weren't a good fit for Fallout 4. Bethesda went for a vibe that matches the Commonwealth. Plus, without centaurs, we got room for all sorts of new monstrosities. Trust me, you won't miss them once a Deathclaw is charging at you.
No centaurs in Fallout 4? It's simple. The game devs wanted to shake things up. Imagine popping out of the Vault and the first thing you see is... not a centaur. Instead, they gave us the creeps with the Mirelurks and Deathclaws. Boston just wasn't ready for centaurs, I guess.
No centaurs? Good riddance. They were nightmare fuel in the old games and honestly a bit out of place in sleek, post-apocalyptic Boston. Bethesda's call to leave them out probably saved us all a few jumpscares.
