Because Sega only released the Sonic Mania Collector's Edition for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC back in 2017. Sorry, Switch fans!

The Switch version came out later when production plans were already made for the other consoles.

Maybe Sega thought Switch users prefer digital over collectibles? Just a guess!

Probably a supply chain thing or licensing issue. Either way, it's a bummer for Switch collectors.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
