Simply, it's because the game's huge. One disc for installing, and another for playing. End of story!

GTA V is a beast of a game, not just in gameplay but in size too. The developers crammed it with so much content that it overflowed onto two discs. The first disc is to get all the game data onto your system, and the second disc is what you need to have in the console to dive into Los Santos. It's kinda cool, like getting a double album from your favorite band.

Back in the day when GTA 5 first hit the shelves, the game was so massive that it couldn't fit on a single DVD. So, they split it into two discs. One is the 'Install' disc, which you need to load onto your console or PC first. And the second one is the 'Play' disc, which you use to actually play the game after the installation. It's like buying a book so thick they had to publish it in two volumes!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
