It's probably because Apple and Google removed Fortnite from their app stores due to disagreements with Epic Games over payment methods. Try buying V-Bucks on another device!

Blame it on the Apple vs. Epic Games saga. Fortnite's not on the app stores, so you can't buy V-Bucks in-app.
