Why can't I deactivate my Facebook account?
I had the same issue! I found out I had to go to Settings > Your Facebook Information > Deactivation and Deletion. Follow the steps from there.

Hey! Make sure you don't have any active Facebook apps or services connected to your account. Sometimes they can prevent deactivation!

You probably have a Page linked to your account that isn't managed by anyone else. Assign a new admin and try again!
