You won't find an official Wordle app because it's meant to be played directly in your web browser on the New York Times website.

The official Wordle game isn't a standalone app. You can play Wordle! on your web browser or download the New York Times Crossword app, which includes Wordle! Have fun guessing!

The Wordle app you're looking for might not be listed as 'Wordle' but you can totally play it in your browser. Just visit the New York Times website!

Wordle! is part of the New York Times Crossword app. Just search for that in your app store and you'll find it there!

If you're a Wordle! player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Wordle! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
