Maybe you've hit TikTok's follow limit! They cap the number of accounts you can follow per day to prevent spam. Try waiting 24 hours.
Are you sure they're not blocking you? Check if you can see their profile; if not, they might have hit the block button.
Could be a temporary glitch or server issue. Sometimes TikTok just has a mind of its own!
