Why can't I join my friend in Lethal Company?
Sometimes it's just a glitch. Try restarting the game or your PC. Steam can be a bit finicky with its server connections. If that doesn't work, check if you both have your game updated to the latest version. Lethal Company gets updates pretty often, and being on different versions can prevent you from joining each other's games!

Firewall issue maybe? Had this problem once, and it turned out my antivirus was blocking Lethal Company. Make sure your firewall or antivirus allows the game through.
Just use Discord to coordinate joining games. Way easier.
Make sure you both set your game to 'Online' mode in the settings! Lethal Company is super strict about its online settings, so if one of you is on 'Friends Only' and the other is on 'Public' or 'Private', you won't be able to connect.
Are y'all friends on Steam? Can't join if you're not. Simple as that.
