Close BitLife, start your music again, and then reopen the game. Worked for me!

BitLife might be using all your device's audio channels, causing your music app to pause. Try playing music from another source before launching BitLife!

You might need to adjust your audio settings. Check if BitLife has permission to use your device's audio, and disable it if necessary.
