Make sure your game is updated to the latest version. Epic Games frequently rolls out updates, and being behind can cause matchmaking issues.

Every time I've had this issue, it was because the servers were down for maintenance. Check the official Fortnite Status Twitter for updates.

If you've been banned or have a matchmaking restriction, that could be the problem. Contact Epic Games support to check on this.
