Could be your device needs an update! Make sure your game and system software are up-to-date.
Check your internet connection. A weak or unstable connection can mess with the update process.
Make sure you have enough storage space. New updates can be pretty hefty in size.
If all else fails, re-install Fortnite. It鈥檚 a pain but sometimes it鈥檚 the only fix.
