Why can't I run Street Fighter 2 on MAME?
First, make sure you have the correct ROM file for Street Fighter 2. MAME is picky about ROM versions!

Check if your MAME emulator is up to date. Sometimes, older versions can't handle newer ROMs or have bugs.
Are you sure your hardware is up to the task? MAME can be demanding, so double-check your system specs.
You might be missing the BIOS files that MAME needs to run certain games, including Street Fighter 2. Make sure those are in the right folder!
I had the same problem until I realized my ROM file was corrupted. Try downloading it again from a different source.
