Okay, so you're having trouble saving your progress in GTA San Andreas on PC, right? This could happen for a few reasons. First up, make sure you're not just missing the save points; they're floppy disk icons on your map. If that's not it, your game files might be set to 'Read Only.' Right-click on your GTA San Andreas folder, go to properties, and uncheck 'Read Only.' If that doesn't do the trick, it's worth checking if your save game folder is in the right spot, which should be in the 'GTA San Andreas User Files' in your Documents. Lastly, compatibility issues might be messing with you. Try running the game in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. Fingers crossed one of these fixes gets you back to gangbanging in Grove Street in no time!
Had this issue last year! Turns out my antivirus was blocking the save files from being written. Had to add an exception for the game folder. Worked like a charm after that!
