Instagram doesn鈥檛 always show all viewers on Stories to prioritize performance. Deal with it.
Sometimes the viewer list stops updating after 24 hours, but the story stays visible for 48 hours in archives. Basically, the numbers lag behind.
It's a bug! Log out and back in or reinstall the app. Worked for me!
