First off, make sure you've built the Helminth Segment in your Infested Room. If you haven't, no subsuming for you!

You can only subsume Warframes once you’ve unlocked the Helminth system, which requires Rank 3 in the Entrati Syndicate. Get to grinding, Tenno!

Some Warframes can't be subsumed, especially those with unique mods or abilities. Check the list of exceptions!
