Sometimes Sona just needs some space! If you've completed all quests related to her, she may not have much else to say.
Honestly, maybe Sona likes the silent treatment! If you haven't triggered the right missions yet, she won't chat.
Sometimes NPCs in Starfield are busy or part of a mission you haven't started. Try progressing the story or looking for quest triggers!
Finally beat Sona's quest line, and she went radio silent on me. Confirmed it's just part of the game.
