Oh, the greyed-out mystery! It's likely because the cards you're trying to trade are tagged as 'Not For Trade.' Go to your collection, click on the card and untick the 'Not For Trade' option. Pokemon TCG Online marks cards obtained through certain means (like some rewards) as non-tradeable by default. Also, check if you're trying to trade locked cards, which are usually from packs bought with in-game currency or earned in trainer challenges.

Probably because those cards are locked. Cards you get from packs bought with coins or from certain rewards are usually locked and can't be traded. It's how the game keeps the balance and makes sure the trading economy isn't flooded with easily obtained cards.

The cards are locked, my dude. Hover over them in your collection, and it'll show if they're locked or not. Locked means no trading, simple as that.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
