Why can't I update Valorant?

Your antivirus might be the party pooper here. Some antivirus software sees Valorant's update as a false positive and blocks it. Try disabling your antivirus temporarily (but don't forget to turn it back on later) and see if that fixes the issue.
Honestly, it's probably just your internet. I had the same problem until I upgraded my plan. Now, it's smooth sailing.
