Why Can't I Use Stairs in The Sims FreePlay?
Make sure your stairs are properly connected to the upper floor. If they're just hanging there, your Sim can't float up them!

Sometimes the problem is just a good ol' fashioned glitch. Restart the game or move the stairs a bit to see if that helps.
Make sure you have a second floor built! Sounds silly, but if there鈥檚 nowhere to go, your Sim won鈥檛 use the stairs.
Check if there鈥檚 anything blocking the stairs, like furniture or clutter! Your Sim might be too shy to step over the mess.
