Why Can't You Buy V-Bucks as a Gift?
Epic Games doesn't allow gifting V-Bucks directly, but you can always buy someone a gift card for their platform (like Xbox or PlayStation) and they can use it to buy V-Bucks!

Because life needs some challenges, right? But seriously, grab a gift card from a store and they'll be able to buy V-Bucks themselves.
You can't gift V-Bucks directly because Epic Games hasn't enabled that feature yet. However, they do allow gifting in-game items from the Item Shop.
I once tried to gift V-Bucks and ended up gifting my cousin a llama pi帽ata instead. Lesson learned: Use gift cards.
