David Spade didn't stick around past *Enter the Dragonfly* because the game wasn't that well-received. Comedy gigs might've seemed more appealing!
I remember reading that David Spade just did it for that one game (*Enter the Dragonfly*), and maybe it was just a one-time gig for him. He probably had other priorities!
David Spade was only the voice of Sparx in *Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly*, which didn't quite hit the high-flying expectations, so they didn't bring him back for future games. Maybe he decided dragons weren't his thing after all!
