The Demon Slayer manga ended because the story reached its natural conclusion, wrapping up Tanjiro's journey and battle against the demons. Everything has to end sometime, right?
Demon Slayer ended because its arc had a clear beginning, middle, and end. All good things must come to an end eventually.
Sometimes it's best to end a story on a high note, and Demon Slayer did just that. It concluded beautifully with 23 volumes.
