Hina dies because of the critical events tied to gang conflicts and Takemichi's struggle to alter the past. Changing fate isn't easy, even with time travel!
It's basically all about the butterfly effect and how changing one thing can mess up another. Messy business!
Sorry to say, but she dies due to complications from the gang鈥檚 internal power struggles. Kind of brutal, but it drives the story forward.
