Likely due to time and resource constraints, Madhouse had to pass the baton on One Punch Man. J.C. Staff picked it up instead. Anime studios juggle multiple projects, so this isn’t uncommon.

Maybe Madhouse just had too many other epic projects to work on! J.C. Staff did a decent job stepping in. Gotta love anime industry surprises!

Hot take: Madhouse dropped OPM ‘cause they knew Season 2 couldn’t top the first. J.C. Staff tried their best, but it’s tough to follow a masterpiece.

Madhouse probably gave up One Punch Man due to scheduling conflicts or resource allocation to other projects. Studio J.C. Staff took over afterward. Things change in the anime industry all the time!
