Did you trade your pet recently? You might have accidentally traded it away.
It's possible your pet was lost due to a bug. Contact Adopt Me support, they can often help retrieve it.
Honestly, it might be a bug or you could have traded without noticing. Try the support team if all else fails.
Check if your pet is still in your inventory. Sometimes it feels like it vanished, but it's just hiding in there!
