Sometimes War Thunder updates reset controls to default settings. Check your control settings in the options menu and reconfigure them if needed.
I noticed this after a patch too. Seems like they occasionally change the default mappings. Just head to the control settings to fix it.
Maybe you accidentally switched to a different control scheme? War Thunder has several presets like Mouse Aim, Simplified, and Realistic. Double-check you're using the right one.
