The art style of One Piece evolved primarily because of Eiichiro Oda's constant efforts to improve his work and adjust to the changing times. As with any long-running series, the artist's style matures over time. Plus, advancements in animation technology and changes in production staff in the anime adaptation have contributed to noticeable variations in the art style.

Honestly, if you're drawing something for over 20 years, you're bound to get better at it, right? Oda's been refining his craft with every chapter. The early One Piece looks different because it's Oda from the '90s. Now we're seeing Oda 2.0, with slicker lines and even wilder character designs!

Art change? More like art evolution! Oda's just leveling up. Also, the anime tweaks things to keep up with HD and all that modern tech jazz. It's all part of keeping One Piece looking fresh.

I miss the old art style, felt more 'pirate-y' to me. New one's too polished.

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
