Nah, they just figured out that nobody sticks around for endings anyway. With One Piece's episodes being as long as they are, dropping the ending themes was probably a move to keep the focus on the story. Plus, who doesn't want more pirate action and less fluff?

So, basically, One Piece stopped using ending themes because of the sheer length of its episodes. With each episode packed to the brim with content, they decided to ditch the ending themes to make more room for the actual story. It makes sense, since the show's gotta fit in all that epic adventure without running over time. Plus, it lets them squeeze in more of those juicy plot developments and character moments we all love!

From my personal viewing experience, One Piece ditched ending themes to focus more on the storyline and character development. This move allows for extended scenes and more in-depth storytelling, enhancing the overall viewing experience. As a fan, I appreciate the extra minutes of adventure in each episode!
