So, here's the scoop - Pokemon TCG decided to ax Fairy types because they wanted to streamline the game mechanics. Basically, they figured Fairy types were too similar to Psychic types in terms of gameplay. By giving Fairy-type moves and traits to Psychic and other types, it made the game easier to balance and less confusing for players. Plus, it's not like the Fairy Pokemon disappeared; they just got reclassified.

Fairies are not gone! They just got a new club to hang with. The TCG folks decided that Psychic is the new Fairy. Maybe they ran out of pixie dust or something, but hey, your favorite Fairy-type moves are now rocking with the Psychic pals.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
