Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas stopped because the production studio, TMS Entertainment, decided not to continue with a third season. They never officially explained why, but it's often blamed on low DVD sales and budget issues.

The Lost Canvas anime ended because the studio prioritized other projects, leaving fans hanging. Sucks, but it happens.
