Steam might've logged you out for a few reasons. The most common one is you signed in on another device. Steam's pretty protective over your account, so if it smells something fishy like a login from a new device, it'll log you out elsewhere to keep your account safe. Another reason could be an update or a glitch in the system. Sometimes, after Steam updates itself, it'll log you out just to make sure everything's running smoothly. Last but not least, it could be a simple cookie or cache issue in your web browser if you're using Steam through it. Try clearing those and logging back in.

Steam's just being extra cautious, probably logged you out because it thought you were logging in from somewhere new. Happens all the time.

Honestly, it's probably just a bug. Steam has bugs like any other software. Just log back in and keep playing.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
