Contracts, my friend! GTA 5's departure from Game Pass was likely due to the end of the licensing agreement between Rockstar Games and Xbox. These deals don't last forever.

Honestly, it's just business. They rotate games to keep the lineup spicy. Plus, GTA 5 has had its run, making room for newer games is a smart move.

GTA 5 was removed from Game Pass because the agreements between game publishers and Xbox Game Pass are usually for a limited time. Once that time is up, games like GTA 5 cycle out to make way for new titles. It's all about keeping the library fresh and exciting!

Think of Game Pass like a rotating library. GTA 5 had its time, and now it's someone else's turn. Simple as that.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
