They pulled Tetris from Facebook mostly because of licensing issues. It’s like trying to play Monopoly without the board!

It's mainly due to legal and licensing constraints. They just couldn't keep it up there.

The main reason was licensing complications. Facebook Tetris was awesome, but they couldn't keep the rights forever.

Facebook Tetris got the boot because of some licensing drama. Sad, but true.

If you're a Tetris player looking for extra power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Tetris essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
