Fairy types said 'bye-bye' because the creators thought Psychic types needed a little more sparkle. So, they mixed them in, making it easier for players to catch 'em all without tripping over too many types.

They decided to streamline the game and balance the types better. Fairy types were merged into the Psychic type, making deck building and strategies a bit simpler without losing the essence of what made Fairy types unique. It's like they graduated to a mythical level of Psychic!

I think they just ran out of glitter. But seriously, it was probably for game balance. Merging them with Psychic types shook things up and kept the TCG evolving, which is what Pok茅mon is all about.

As someone who's been playing since the early days, the decision felt like a shock at first. But after a few matches, you realize the game's balance feels tighter. Plus, all my beloved Fairy types found a new home under Psychic, so not all was lost.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
