Apple and Google removed Fortnite from their app stores because Epic Games added an option for direct payment, which violated the stores' policies.

Oh, easy. Epic Games swung the ban hammer on themselves by sidestepping Apple and Google's payment systems.

Epic Games tried to bypass Apple and Google's cut on in-app purchases. The app stores didn't like that and booted Fortnite.

Basically, Epic Games wanted to keep more of the money from V-Bucks purchases, so Apple and Google said 'Nope!' and removed it.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
