I had this happen once because of a system update that uninstalled some of my bigger games. Check if you had a recent update!
Maybe the game needed a quick vacation? Jokes aside, sometimes game files get corrupted. Try reinstalling and see if it fixes the problem.
I switched my storage location and forgot to reinstall on the new drive. Could that be it for you too?
