It might be COVID-19 related delays. A lot of shows faced setbacks due to the pandemic.
I read on a forum that they are taking extra time to make sure the animation quality is top-notch. Worth the wait!
The delay is most likely due to production setbacks. Animating something as epic as One Punch Man isn't easy, you know!
