Why do my Helldivers have a PS Plus expiration date?

If Helldivers is showing a PS Plus expiration date for you, it means you grabbed the game as part of the PS Plus free monthly games offer. The deal is, as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription, you can play any game you 'bought' for free through it. But if your subscription ends, you lose access to those games till you renew. So, keep that sub going if you wanna keep playing Helldivers with the freedom it deserves!

It鈥檚 cuz the game's tied to your PS Plus sub. No sub, no play. Simple as that.

Ugh, this is exactly why I prefer buying games outright rather than getting them through PS Plus. Sure, it feels like a sweet deal at first, but then you're basically renting the games. Wanted to chill with Helldivers last summer when my PS Plus lapsed, and surprise, surprise, couldn't play it. So, lesson learned: if you really love a game, buy it!

If you're a Helldivers player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
