Honestly, I loved the ending! It wrapped up Eren's journey perfectly. Hot take: it's just impossible to please everyone nowadays.
A lot of fans didn't like the ending because it felt rushed, and some character arcs didn't get the closure they deserved.
Personally, I think the ending tried to do too much. It added way too many twists and left some plot holes.
First-hand experience here: I followed the series for years, and the ending was a letdown because it undermined some major themes established earlier.
