Red HP on a Pokemon card usually means it's a special or rare card, like a shiny or a holographic one. It's like the card is flexing its uniqueness and rarity by having that red HP color. The color doesn't change the gameplay, but it sure does make the card stand out in your collection!

Got a card with red HP once, thought I hit the jackpot thinking it was super rare. Turned out, it was just a cool feature for that series. Still love the look though!

Actually, red HP isn't always a sign of rarity. Sometimes, it's just a design choice by the creators to make certain editions or series stand out. So, it might not be as special as you think, but it does add a nice touch to the card's aesthetic.

Red HP? Overrated. It's all about the gameplay for me, not the color of the HP.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
