The creators chose 'K' instead of 'C' for 'Kombat' to make the game stand out and be more memorable. It's just cooler, isn't it?

They wanted it to be unique and edgy. Because Mortal Kombat with a 'C' just doesn鈥檛 pack the same punch!

Mortal Kombat uses a 'K' because 'K' gives it that extra edge and makes it unique. Plus, who doesn't love a little creative spelling?

It's because Mortal Kombat needed to be rad, and cool kids don't play by grammar rules!

Ed Boon and John Tobias, the co-creators, thought using 'K' would give the title a stronger and more distinctive brand identity.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
