Why do you walk so weird in Grand Theft Auto?

It's all about the game's physics engine. GTA tries to mimic real-life movements, but sometimes it ends up looking a bit odd because of the way the engine interprets player commands. It's kinda like when you try to walk straight in real life after spinning around – your body wants to, but your brain's like, 'nope, let's add some style to this walk'.

Actually, I find the walk cycle in GTA kinda realistic. You ever try walking around with three guns, a rocket launcher, and a parachute on your back? Not so easy to look smooth, my friend. I think the developers did a solid job considering.

The weird walk? It's a feature, not a bug. Adds to the charm of running around causing chaos. Realism’s overrated anyway.

Honestly, it's the game's way of reminding you that you're not in a simulation trying to pass off as real life; you're in a digital world where the laws of physics are more like guidelines.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!
