Boruto has so many fillers because the anime caught up to the manga pretty quickly, so they needed extra content to keep the show running while waiting for new chapters. Plus, it gives screen time to side characters and explores more of the Naruto universe!

Fillers help flesh out character backstories and add depth to the Boruto world. Sometimes the main plot needs a little breathing room, you know?

The fillers are there to give fans more content and keep the series on air without taking too many breaks. It鈥檚 a classic anime move.
