It's probably your internet connection, dude. Check your ping and make sure you've got a stable connection. If that doesn't help, try lowering the graphics settings.

Too many background apps can cause lag. Close unnecessary programs and see if that helps. Fortnite hogs a lot of resources!

Hot take: Fortnite's constant updates and new features can sometimes mess with performance. It's usually fixed in patches, though!

Ever considered upgrading your hardware? Sometimes, the lag's all about those outdated GPUs and CPUs struggling to keep up.

I had the same issue, and it turned out my console was overheating. Make sure your device has proper ventilation and isn't covered with dust.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
