Why does GTA San Andreas have such bad graphics?
GTA San Andreas might seem to have 'bad' graphics today mostly because it was released way back in 2004. Back then, its graphics were actually pretty groundbreaking for its time. Considering it's a huge open-world game, the developers prioritized gameplay and the sheer scale of the world over hyper-realistic textures. Compared to today's games, advancements in gaming technology have just made older games like San Andreas look outdated.

Graphics? Buddy, it's all about nostalgia. GTA San Andreas might not win any beauty contests now, but it's got heart. And back in the day, those graphics were the bomb. It's like looking at your old high school photos and wondering why you thought that hairstyle was cool.
Nah, I think you're viewing it wrong. GTA San Andreas graphics are a timeless masterpiece, period.
It's simply because of its age. Games developed more recently have the advantage of newer, more powerful graphics technology. Plus, San Andreas was made to run on the consoles of its time, which had far less power compared to what we're used to now.
