It's anime, not IMAX! The original show wasn't made in HD, so upscaling it can lead to some weird visuals.

Sometimes, the HD versions can look bad because they upscale the original animation, which can highlight flaws or make things look blurry. Check if you're watching it on a legit platform like Crunchyroll or Hulu for the best quality!

Honestly, it's not that it looks bad; it's just that our eyes are spoiled by newer animations. Enjoy it for the story and the feels!

As someone who rewatched Naruto Shippuden recently, I noticed the same thing. It's a bummer when the quality doesn't match the epicness of the story!

If you're a Naruto Shippuden fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
