The reason Hot Wheels stopped making Ferrari diecast models is due to licensing agreements. Back in the day, Hot Wheels and Ferrari had a partnership allowing Hot Wheels to produce models of Ferrari cars. However, this agreement came to an end around 2014, and since then, Hot Wheels hasn't produced new Ferrari models. Licensing deals are crucial for producing replicas of real cars, and when these agreements expire or aren't renewed, the toy company can no longer make those specific models.

Ferrari and Mattel (Hot Wheels' parent company) parted ways, so no more prancing horse in the Hot Wheels lineup. It's all about the licensing deal, folks.

Actually, I think it's more about Ferrari being super selective about who gets to replicate their cars. They're like the high school cool kid that only lets certain people sit at their table. Hot Wheels just isn't at the table anymore.
